2nd annual Winterfest Candlelight Hike - 2/4/12
candelightbench_200 Join the Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park for our popular candlelight hike. Walk or snowshoe along a combined portion of the blue and yellow trails. Total distance is .8 mile. Warm-up by the campfire, enjoy hot chocolate and s'mores (available for a small donation).
6:00pm-8:00pm



Parking
State park admission fees apply to all vehicles entering the park. Parking rates are $7.00/day, $25.00/year for WI plates; $10.00/day or $35.00/year for non-resident plates.

You can become a member of The Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park and get your yearly parking sticker included in the price of membership.

Annual Events

Each year we have the following events that are our main fundraising activities of the year. At some of them we do work for the Park as well.
Friends of Wisconsin State Parks Work * Play * Earth Day
work play earth day We will be looking for volunteers to come and help us celebrate Earth Day by picking up trash, removing Buckthorn and Garlic Mustard, and getting the park ready for our busy summer season.

The Turkey Trot
Turkey Trot 2011 Our Annual TURKEY TROT 5k & 10k fun run is held in the morning on the Saturday before Thanksgiving at Big Foot Beach State Park. The off-road, dirt and grass trail course is designed to challenge the beginner to expert runner. The expansive tree lined course is perfect for social runners and provides great opportunities for ultra-competitive runners to pass.
